This ensemble is for students brand new to string playing. Instruments include violin, viola, cello, and bass. Students will learn how to hold the instrument and play simple songs, as well as some beginner note reading. Students must bring their own instrument or rental. There is no audition required.

This ensemble is a continuation of Beginner I. Students should have some instrument experience and will continue to improve their skills, learning new songs and more note reading. There is no audition required.

This ensemble is recommended for elementary age students around a Suzuki Book 1 level. Students should be able to play a one octave scale, play a simple song such as Twinkle Twinkle, and be able to read 5 or more notes. The expectation is that they have played for at least one year. There is no audition required.

6:15-7:15pm

Fee: $200 

This ensemble is recommended for late elementary/early middle school students around mid Suzuki Book 2 to mid Book 3 level. Students should be able to play a two octave scale and be able to read first position notes. The expectation is that students have been playing for at least 2 to 3 years. There is no audition required.

6:15-7:30pm

Fee: $230 

This ensemble is recommended for middle school students around mid Suzuki Book 3 to mid Book 4 level. Students should be able to play several two octave scale and beginning shifting.
The expectation is that students have been playing for at least 3 to 4 years. There is no audition required.

Fee: $260 

This ensemble is recommended for late middle/high school age students around mid Suzuki Book 4-5 level or higher. Students should be comfortable with reading music on all strings, be able to play most two octave scales, and be able to play in first and third position. The expectation is that students have been playing for 4 or more years.
A short video audition is required for this ensemble.
